Senior Hardware Integration and Validation Engineer - NVIDIA

Our HW team in Israel is looking for an experienced system/board designer to join the Hardware Switch Group. The team leads the development of networking infrastructure for NVIDIA next-generation data centers focusing on accelerated performance while enabling optimized end to end GPU connectivity.

What you'll be doing:

• Perform board bring-up, hardware validation, characterization, and system-level debugging in the lab

• Debug issues involving power, signal integrity, interfaces, components, firmware interactions, and system behavior

• Support productization, production-line stabilization, and hardware-related issues during mass production

• Read and analyze schematics, PCB layouts, component specifications, design documentation, and manufacturing data

• Define test strategies, develop validation plans, execute test procedures, and improve coverage and efficiency

• Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, thermal, firmware, software, system, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for critical hardware issues

What we need to see:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, or product engineering

• Proven board-level and system-level debugging capabilities

• Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics and PCB layouts

• Experience using laboratory equipment and applying structured troubleshooting methodologies

• Strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and manage several activities in parallel

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, SerDes, I²C, SPI, or similar technologies and supporting NPI, manufacturing lines, production stabilization, failure analysis, or yield-improvement activities

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, test stations, boundary scan, ICT, or functional testing

• Experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, or component vendors

• Familiarity with bug-tracking, failure-analysis, or PLM tools

• Experience developing networking, server, data-center, or high-performance computing hardware
