About the role

As a Senior Product Manager at Buildots, you'll own a product end-to-end strategy, vision, roadmap, and execution and take it from an early, unproven stage to a product that runs reliably and delivers measurable value in the field.

This is a senior individual-contributor role. You'll be the domain expert in the room the person who can say what actually matters on a construction site and be trusted on it. You'll work closely with engineering and operations to understand what's feasible, and with sales, marketing and customer success to bring the product to market and keep learning from the field.

What you'll do:

• Own a product end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for a new or early-stage product
• Decide what to build and what to leave out; define scope and defend those decisions
• Run deep discovery with customers and users on active construction sites, and find the real problem underneath the request
• Validate ideas by building use AI coding tools to prototype flows, mock up data, and test concepts with real users before committing engineering time
• Use AI to move faster across the job: exploring data, drafting and pressure-testing specs, and analyzing customer feedback at scale
• Define the solution, set priorities, and drive it through engineering to launch staying accountable for what ships, not just what was specified
• Define success metrics and track them adoption, usage, and proven value
• Work day-to-day with engineering, design, operations, customer success, sales and marketing to build the right solution and take it to market
• Stay with customers after launch until the value shows up in the field

Requirements:

• 4+ years in product management, including 2–3 years of full ownership of a product or domain not features within someone else's roadmap
• Hands-on construction background, in one of two forms: field experience (site or project engineering, project management, planning, contracting) followed by a move into tech; or 3+ years in a product role at a construction-tech company
• Strong product judgment the ability to take an undefined problem, break it down independently, and reach a point of view
• Demonstrated success defining and launching products, including decisions you owned yourself
• Hands-on with AI tools as part of your daily workflow you build prototypes yourself, and you use AI to compress the distance between an idea and validated evidence. We care about what you've actually shipped this way, not tool familiarity
• Fluent English and full comfort leading conversations with senior customers across the US and Europe
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• A self-starter who takes broad ownership and runs with it

Nice to have

• B2B SaaS or enterprise experience, particularly with complex, data-heavy products
• Experience at a growth-stage or scale-up company
• Degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, or computer science
• Familiarity with computer vision or large-scale data products
