We are looking for an exceptional Team Lead to lead our core inspection and detection team. This is a rare opportunity to lead a team of engineers, building the core technology in a Cybersecurity Startup protecting customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Tech leadership- Take full ownership of the team's software, performance, quality, and production systems. Know the ins and outs of the architecture, design, code, logic, tech debt, and limitations.
• People person- Lead and grow a team of experienced engineers. Set high standards, raise their performance and velocity, and turn each of them into a multiplier.
• Team player- Collaborate across teams. Be an enabler, make things happen, and deliver business results.
• Hire, mentor, and inspire- Set the example for engineering excellence, AI-tool adoption, and business impact.

Must-haves

• 6+ years of backend development
• In addition, 3+ years of technical leadership experience, people management
• Experience with high-scale, high-performance, near-real-time systems
• Experience with AI tools and AI agents for coding and day-to-day tasks
• Experience delivering frequent production changes every day
• Pragmatic, business-oriented, and team player
• Smart and gets things done
