Deep understanding of IT and/or R&D-centric organizations and their operational dynamics. Solid technical fluency in systems architecture, SDLC, data infrastructure, or IT/infrastructure environments. Design and establish the division-wide program framework from the ground up, aligning all departments under a unified delivery model. Define program scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics (delivery KPIs and business outcomes). Manage cross-departmental dependencies, proactively resolve blockers, and keep programs on track. Own program visibility, status updates, decision logs, risk registers, and leadership reporting. Partner with the VP to design, document, and roll out operational procedures across the division. Identify inefficiencies, duplicated effort, and process gaps, propose and drive improvements. Establish standards and best practices that scale across IT, TechOps, and Developer Tools teams. Act as the VP's right hand on strategic, focused initiatives that require cross-team coordination. Drive end-to-end delivery of key projects, from definition and design through deployment and stabilization. Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to executive stakeholders. Spearhead the adoption of AI tools and automation across all departments within the division. Build the AI transformation roadmap: identify use cases, sequence initiatives, and track adoption. Champion culture change - create buy-in, manage resistance, and embed AI-driven ways of working.
