AI & Automation Specialist – IT Department - BIRD Aerosystems

We are looking for an AI & Automation Specialist to join our IT department and drive the practical adoption of AI tools across the organization, alongside ongoing support of our ERP system (Priority) and automation processes. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who wants to grow into enterprise AI, working under the guidance of the IT Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and implement AI tools (LLMs, GenAI, intelligent automation) to address operational needs across departments
• Provide ongoing support for Priority ERP – configuration, reporting, and process improvements
• Build integrations and automation workflows between systems (APIs, Webhooks, Make/Zapier or similar)
• Deliver basic training to employees on using AI tools (Prompt Engineering, common tools)
• Work closely with the IT Director and support additional department projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering & Management (Information Systems track), Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent significant technological experience
• Up to ~2 years of experience in a technology / IT / information systems role
• Hands-on experience with leading GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.)
• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering principles
• Strong ability to learn new technologies independently and quickly
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics simply

Nice to Have

• Understanding of enterprise systems and organizational business processes, with basic orientation toward IT infrastructure and information security
• Experience with ERP (Priority), CRM, BI, or other cross-functional business applications
• Experience with Make / Zapier or other Low-Code/No-Code automation platforms
• Relevant IT certifications (MCSA, CCNA, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent)
• Experience delivering training or knowledge-sharing sessions to colleagues
• Good level of English
