Job description:

We're not looking for someone who "sometimes uses Copilot." We want a developer whose default way of building software is with AI agents. You break a feature into a clear spec, drive Claude Code or Cursor through the implementation, review the output like a demanding senior engineer, and ship in days what used to take weeks. You'll own features end to end. That covers the .NET services that ingest millions of meter readings, the Angular apps our customers use every day, the mobile apps our field technicians rely on, and the pipelines and infrastructure that ship and run all of it.

How we work:

• Every feature starts from a written spec with acceptance criteria. That spec is what your agents work from.
• Agents write most of the first draft. You own the architecture, the correctness, and what actually ships.
• Our repos carry AI context (CLAUDE.md files, skills, conventions) so the tools work like team members. You'll help write and improve them.
• AI helps with code review and test generation, but a human approves every merge.
• We work in small cross-functional squads with short cycles and ship straight to production.

Responsibilities:

• Build backend services in C#/.NET on Azure, running on Kubernetes (AKS)
• Own the path to production: build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, containerize services and deploy them to AKS
• Monitor, troubleshoot and tune what you ship in production, including logs, metrics, alerts and performance
• Build customer-facing Angular web apps: dashboards, analytics and management tools for water utilities
• Build and maintain our mobile apps (Angular + Capacitor, Android and iOS)
• Build GenAI features into our products, using LLMs to turn our data into answers and automation
• Work with large-scale IoT telemetry and time-series data from devices in the field

• Proven full stack experience shipping production software
• Strong C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core, Web API)
• Strong Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, component architecture)
• Heavy daily use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor or similar), with the judgment to know when to trust the output and when to throw it away
• Hands-on DevOps experience: CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar), Docker, and deploying to Kubernetes
• Solid SQL and relational databases (SQL Server or equivalent)
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices or distributed systems, and with Git and CI/CD
• Good written and spoken English

• LLM / GenAI in production: RAG, agents, Azure OpenAI or similar
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM), Helm, and deep AKS experience
• Observability tooling (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Capacitor or another hybrid mobile framework, and publishing to the App Store / Google Play
• IoT, telemetry or messaging (Service Bus, Event Hubs, Kafka, MQTT)
• High-volume data processing and performance tuning
