Design System Tech Lead - Payoneer

7+ years of frontend engineering experience. Strong experience building or leading a Design System, UI platform, or shared frontend infrastructure . Deep knowledge of React, component architecture, and scalable frontend patterns. Experience working in large, multi ‑ team environments . Strong communication and leadership skills.

Lead the modernization and technical direction of the Design System. Own component architecture, design tokens, theming, accessibility, and performance. Improve developer and designer adoption by reducing friction, improving documentation, and simplifying upgrades. Make the Design System machine ‑ readable and tool ‑ friendly , enabling automation and AI‑assisted development. Define quality standards, testing strategy, and governance for Design System changes. Work closely with product design, frontend teams, platform, and DevOps partners. Mentor engineers and contribute to frontend platform best practices.
