Planning Leader - Quantum Machines

The Planning Lead will own and build Quantum Machines global planning function, with end-to-end responsibility for translating business demand into executable production and supply plans. This role will lead planning across our global manufacturing network, build scalable planning infrastructure and processes, and drive alignment between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end planning process, from demand planning through production and supply planning.
• Build and continuously improve the planning infrastructure, including tools, automated processes, workflows, data, dashboards, and planning routines.
• Lead planning across three Contract Manufacturing partners on three continents.
• Develop executable global production plans that balance demand, capacity, inventory, lead times, and business priorities.
• Proactively identify supply chain risks and drive mitigation plans for shortages, long lead times, capacity constraints, allocations, and demand changes.
• Partner closely with Sales to translate customer commitments and commercial priorities into realistic operational plans.
• Own and lead the S&OP process, aligning Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other key stakeholders.
• Establish KPIs and management routines covering demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and operational risks.
• Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and external CMs to ensure alignment between planning and execution.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, systems, automation, and data quality.

• 5+ years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations Planning within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing planning across multiple global Contract Manufacturers.
• Proven experience building planning processes and infrastructure from the ground up.
• Strong experience managing complex and changing supply chain constraints.
• Experience partnering with Sales and translating commercial demand into operational plans.
• Experience owning or leading an S&OP process.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate data into clear business decisions and independently drive execution.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools.
